After years of working across both public and private sectors, I saw how often HR was misunderstood, deprioritised or made more complicated than it needed to be. For small businesses and start-ups without in-house HR support, staying on top of UK employment law, managing people issues, or knowing what “good” looks like can feel confusing and stressful.

I believed there had to be a better way - one that makes HR feel more approachable, practical and easier to understand.
